In the Jackson Citizen Patriot there was a article done about a man in Sugar Grove Illinois named Joe Downing. If anyone has this mans phone number I would be very much interested in talking to him. The article was written by Rhianna Wisnlewski and Gerry Smith. I would also like to talk to then too. If I can get this informatation I will make it available here on this site. In the article they talk of a government grant of up to $4000 for building a electric car.

I too am interested in this grant. Has anything new been discovered? If you could share with me I will SUPER appreciate it.

I talked with Joe Downing today and he lives in Sandwitch Illinois. The grant is for up to 4,000.00 dollars if you live in Illinois. It is a state thing and you coould do up to 10 conversions per year, that's a whoppping 40 grand!!!
