I have a large quantity of laptop battery packs that have (8) 4/5A NiMH cells in them. They are 1.2V 1700maH each. These are internally wired in series. There is a thermal fuse and thermal circuit breaker also in series with the cells. Originally charged by a 14V/3A smart charger. These are new old stock and have never been charged. The ones I have tested charged fine and were discharged by running a 12V/1.7A fan tray. Visit http://www.thermalassociatescorp/battery/battery.html for more information
